Thrive Life freeze dried broccoli is one we always have on hand. It's so easy because you don't have to deal with broccoli stalks, cutting or cleaning. Just grab a handful or a cupful and toss the broccoli into whatever you're making. I love adding it to tuna. I take canned tuna and while I'm boiling angel hair pasta I toss 2 handfuls of Thrive freeze dried broccoli in the water. Then drain when done and add to the tuna. For the "sauce" I take some olive oil, dijon mustard, garlic powder and squeeze a lemon and mix together. Then pour into the tuna/noodle/broccoli mix and stir. Yummy and easy!
To the mixture above I also add freeze dried onions. While I normally use the chopped onions, this month the freeze dried sliced onions are on special so I'll be grabbing some cans of those. I love keeping both on hand. If you want to see the difference between the two freeze dried onions click here.
Thrive Life freeze dried blueberries and blackberries on on sale too! These are PERFECT for snacking right out of the can! They are crunchy and delicious and take care of that sweet tooth craving. They are just blueberries and blackberries and nothing added so they make a great snack. You can also bake with them but be sure to rehydrate first.
Thrive Life grilled chicken dices are on sale too. These are another must keep on hand because they are easy to add protein to any meal. Just toss into what you're making and let that sauce or liquid rehydrate the pieces. I also like to rehydrate in water and use the grilled chicken dices as a salad topper.
Both instant black beans and instant brown rice are on sale too. These are handy to keep at home for recipes like the Grilled Chicken Buddha Bowl featuring both the instant black beans and instant brown rice, blueberries, blackberries and the grilled chicken dices. You can find that recipe here.
We also have a delicious Vegetarian Broccoli and Cheese Quick recipe here that features our freeze dried broccoli, onion slices and cheddar cheese.
Why use Thrive Life Freeze Dried Foods?
Thrive freeze dried foods are different than any other kind you’ll find on the market.
- These foods won’t spoil in a few days…or even a few weeks. They’re good.
- You won’t be thawing, degreasing, or cutting raw meat.
- You won’t be chopping veggies or washing and peeling fruit.
- There’s an extra burst of flavor you won’t find anywhere else! Just take a bite!
- Just toss in any meal or refresh (rehydrate) in warm water.
- Free of GMOs, preservatives, artificial nonsense and chemical junk
- The Nutrilock Promise! It's our little secret that makes our food higher in nutrients and freeze-dried fresh all year long. It's a rigorous 41 step process that one Thrive Life owns, and it takes that wild, naturally ripened food and gently locks in the nutrients and flavor without the use of preservatives. Can the grocery store do that?
