This month Thrive chopped chicken is on sale and as you know, it my FAVORITE of the freeze dried chicken available. It is low sodium and unseasoned. I also like that it's smaller pieces because it refreshes (rehydrates) quick. If you're making something that you want done fast or you just want to have a side of chicken to toss on a salad, you want the chopped chicken.
If you're looking for a low sodium option for this meal, I suggest swapping out the Chefs Choice seasoning for the Salad Seasoning Blend. The Salad Seasoning Blend is the "go to" seasoning in our house. It contains parsley, garlic, white onion, chive, and red onion. I put this in almost everything we make and of course, on salads!
The Veloute' is a rich white sauce infused with chicken flavor. Like all sauces, the sodium count is higher but no high like chicken broth would be. Again, if you're looking at sodium reduction, use less of the Veloute'.
