Sorry guys, I couldn't resist this one! I thought it was hilarious and makes perfect sense on how to cut the carbs and in a great way! We've included some pizza recipes below. Some healthy, some not as healthy. If you're choosing one of the not as healthy ones, just reduce the amount you're eating. See, you just cut the carbs! LOL!

Pizza Crust

  • 3 c. Thrive Gluten Free Flour
  • 1 tsp. Iodized Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Cane Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Thrive Instant Milk
  • 3/4 tsp. Xantham Gum
  • 1 pkg. Instant Dry Yeast
  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 1/4 c. Warm Water

Pizza Toppings

Pizza Sauce


  1. Sift together Guten Free flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, instant milk, and xantham gum in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Add water and yeast to the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment.
  3. Add in Olive oil and dry ingredients. Mix on low speed until combined.
  4. Spray a pizza pan with non stick spray. Place dough on pizza pan and, with your fingers, press dough down until it reaches the edge of the pan.
  5. Place in a 350F degree oven and bake for about 15 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, in a small bowl add together the pizza toppings, except for the cheese, and reconstitute with 1/2 cup of water. Let sit for about 5 minutes, drain off any excess water.
  7. For sauce, mix together water, tomato sauce, and Italian blend in a sauce pan just until it simmers. Take off and let cool.
  8. Once you take the pizza crust out of the oven, add the sauce to the crust. On top of the sauce sprinkle your reconstituted cheese, and on top of the cheese add your reconstituted toppings.
  9. Bake in your 350F oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust is lightly browned. Enjoy!

  1. Prepare crust as per directions on bread can adding water and yeast to bread mix and kneading for 5 minutes. Cover and let rise until doubled.
  2. Shape dough into 2-3 separate pieces. Take one and roll out into 12-14 inch circle on floured table.
  3. Prepare briquettes and let smolder to create white hot coals.
  4. Coat bottom of 12 inch dutch oven with 2-3 tablespoons olive oil. Once coals are white, set oven on coals with lid on to preheat.
  5. To prepare the sauce, heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute until slightly golden.
  6. Add hot water to pan to deglaze the garlic, add tomato sauce mix and whisk until combined, bring to simmer. Add peppercorn and Italian seasoning.
  7. Turn heat to low and let simmer until ready to use.
  8. Take rolled dough and carefully place in hot dutch oven, making sure crust lays flat and carefully press crust up sides 1-2 inches with spoon.
  9. Spread sauce on crust to edges and add toppings, cheese last.
  10. Cover and set back on coals. Add 18 coals to top, and 10 to bottom. (internal temp to be 425 degrees)
  11. Cook undisturbed for 12-20 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.

  13. *repeat to use other dough balls or use for scones or bread sticks. Extra sauce is great for dipping!

  1. Make dough according to can directions. Let rise for 45 minutes or until at least double.
  2. For filling saute garlic in oil until caramelized. Add in remaining ingredients, except for cheese, olives and egg. Bring to a simmer and simmer until thick about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add in olives and set aside until dough is done rising.
  4. Once dough is done rising split the dough into 6 even pieces. Roll each piece into a circle. Place 1/6 of the meat mixture onto the dough and sprinkle 1/2 cup of the cheese on top of the meat.
  5. Brush edges of dough with egg wash, fold dough over and pinch edges, and fold to seal. Repeat for remaining calzones.
  6. Brush tops with egg wash and bake in a 375 oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. (Sprinkle tops with Chefs choice seasoning before baking)

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
  3. Add all ingredients to the bowl of a food processor. Turn food processor to on and process until it clumps into a ball, about 30 seconds.
  4. Scoop dough from food processor to parchment paper. Roll into a ball.
  5. Press into a circle. Use a rolling pin to gently press the dough to about 1/4" thickness.
  6. Make an edge around the outside of pizza crust if preferred.
  7. Bake 12-13 minutes or until lightly browned and not soggy.
  8. Remove from oven. Brush with oil
  9. Top with sauce and your favorite toppings and cheese.
  10. Bake for an additional 5-10 more minutes until crust is firm and toppings are heated.
